A Lifesaving Society Program
This course prepares candidates to teach and evaluate all items in the Canadian Swim Patrol Program, Bronze Star, Basic & Emergency First Aid and CPR-A, -B, -C. It also allows instructors to teach and evaluate some items in the Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross and Distinction programs.
As Lifesaving Society Swim Patrol, Bronze Medal and First Aid award guides and resources are required for use in the Lifesaving and Emergency First Aid Instructor Course, the books, Bronze Medal CDs and Bronze Skills USB have been included in the course cost and will be issued to each candidate at the first class. A whistle will also be provided to each candidate.
Prerequisites: 16 years of age AND Bronze Cross or higher
Required Materials: The Canadian Lifesaving Manual
100% attendance is required for successful completion of the course.
