Bronze Cross
The Bronze Cross course is the next step in the lifesaving journey, building on the skills and knowledge gained in Bronze Medallion. This certification is a key requirement for those aspiring to become certified Lifeguards or Instructors. Participants will learn advanced lifesaving techniques, including:
• Managing deep water spinal injuries.
• Understanding the key differences between a lifesaver and a lifeguard.
• Refining judgment and teamwork skills for handling complex rescue scenarios.
Bronze Cross is also a prerequisite for the National Lifeguard (NLS) certification and prepares candidates for the challenges of professional aquatic safety roles.
Standard First Aid with CPR-C
This Standard First Aid with CPR-C course offers comprehensive training that covers all aspects of first aid and CPR. It includes the content of Emergency First Aid while adding an in-depth understanding of advanced first aid topics, such as:
• Legal responsibilities in administering first aid.
• Spinal injuries and bone and joint injuries.
• Managing heat and cold-related emergencies (e.g., heatstroke, hypothermia).
• Handling burns, abdominal injuries, and chest injuries.
• Understanding how the heart functions and when defibrillation is required.
Participants will also learn how to operate a public access defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively.

• Completion of Bronze Medallion AND Emergency First Aid with CPR-B.
• Required Materials:
• The Canadian Lifesaving Manual, CPR mask, and gloves (provided as part of the course fee).
• Attendance:
• 100% attendance is mandatory for certification.
