Bronze Medallion & Emergency First Aid with CPR-B

At Toronto Swim School, we proudly offer Bronze Medallion and Emergency First Aid with CPR-B — two essential programs designed to build lifesaving skills, water safety knowledge, and emergency response confidence.

These courses are ideal for participants who want to improve their safety awareness, develop rescue skills, and take the next step toward becoming certified lifeguards.

Bronze Medallion

The Bronze Medallion course provides the foundation of lifesaving and aquatic rescue training. Participants develop a strong understanding of the four core components of lifesaving:

• Judgment — Assess risks and make effective decisions during emergencies
• Fitness — Improve strength, endurance, and rescue readiness
• Knowledge — Learn rescue principles, prevention, and safety procedures
• Skill — Practice tows, carries, releases, and defence methods

Participants will learn advanced water-rescue techniques for both conscious and unconscious victims while improving stroke efficiency and overall endurance through timed swim challenges.

Bronze Medallion is an excellent program for anyone pursuing lifeguarding certifications or looking to strengthen personal water safety skills.
